Snert is learning the Gettysburg Address. My Mom said she’d give any grandchild who learned it ten whole dollars, and when Snert saw the killing his cousins made he was all in. I heard him talking it over with them.

“I’m learning the Gettysburg Address!” he announced.

“What’s that?” his three year old cousin asked.

“The Gettysburg Address is a speech that President Lincoln gave during the Civil War,” informed the seven year old.

“Who’s President Lincoln?” asks Snert… oops. I probably should have started there.

“President Lincoln was the sixteenth president. He gave the Gettysburg Address.” Duh.

“Well,” concludes Three. “If it’s a Dress, then it’s for a GIRL.”
